Role Summary: The Fixed Assets System Functional Lead will 1) partner with the FA IT team to ensure that GEARs meets the ES functional operaations requirements 2) be responsible to implement the rollout and adoption of GEARs and make changes to the operations as needed 3) monitor the adoption of GEARs after go live and any functional changes 4) develop and own the digital agenda for the global fixed assets operations such as utilizing RPA, predix or datalake etc to increase process productivity.
Essential Responsibilities: • Lead Global Fixed Assets system functional design, gathering and validating system requirements; review and sign off functional requirement documents • Control and prioritize internal and external functional change requests, balancing customization and standardization, discuss feasibility with IT FA team • Lead fixed assets system operationalization, including processes re-design aligning with system; user training; monitoring & enforce operations usage • Address post go-live system issues and client requests to ensure timely issue resolution • Partner with the FA GPL to develop the digital strategy for global FA and implement the initiatives (eg RPA, datalake etc) to drive simplification, automation to drive unit costs reduction
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Management OR minimum 8 years of experience in the related fields • Knowledge on finance processes & controls. Finance & controllership experience preferred • Proven experience in ERP or finance system functional design & implementation support • Demonstrated project management experience including management of multiple projects within the constraints of scope, time and resources to achieve overall project objectives aligned to business strategy • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence at all levels in the organization • Enjoy seeking new ways of doing things, not afraid of change and want to deploy technology to simplfy
