Essential Responsibilities: Corporate Social Responsibility Develop CSR plan and program mechanism based on 5-year roadmap Seek partnership with NGO/government authorities to execute the plan Craft CSR messaging for external & internal communications Work with media and social teams to maximize impact Instill sense of pride among employees through engaging programs riding on CSR platform Adjust CSR program when necessary to make it in line with company’s priorities Closely monitor latest trends of internal and external landscape and seek opportunities to extend GE’s CSR commitment to other areas Internal Communications Land internal communications vision into actionable plan and innovative programs Work with Businesses to ensure BU internal communications are in line with GE China strategic priorities for employee engagement Develop platforms, tools and guidance to bring GE Store to life Partner with the leadership team to promote GE culture by proactively finding and telling the stories and embedding the purpose in the day-to-day employee experience. Support ongoing strategic business initiatives, offering support to project leads to determine how internal communications can help their efforts and ensure the most effective communications methods are being leveraged Drive the continuous modernization of content distribution through digital, mobile, broadcast, online, audio-visual, print, and in-person channels to encourage meaningful conversations. Provide counselling to internal stakeholders and advise them on communications.
CEO Communications Proactively identify and capture appropriate opportunities to enhance CEO’s thought leadership in targeted areas Develop innovative mechanism to strengthen CEO’s connection and engagement with employees Provide support to copy writing for CEO’s internal and external communications
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, more than 10 years' working experiences in business communication function Clear thinker with ability to translate business goals into desired outcomes through meaningful employee engagement communications and marketing activities in a global environment Demonstrated ability to create strategy, develop and implement effective communications’ campaigns across a variety of channels (print, video, digital) Proven track record of effectively interacting at all levels in a matrix organization from senior-level executives to all other employee groups; ability to influence stakeholders and drive change Strong interpersonal, influencing, writing, and presentation skills with the ability to conceptualize, structure, write, and present compelling stories for a wide range of audiences, including sensitive employee communications Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects while maintaining a high quality of work; Rigorous attention to detail Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese Desired Characteristics
