Role Summary: This individual will play a key role within the Korean Account Management (KAM) Organization for the Korean EPC, while retaining the role of Turbomachinery Solutions (TMS) and Downstream Technology Solutions (DTS) Sales Leader in Korea and have a significant impact on the go-to-market strategy. The candidate will have the KAM role for selected EPC fused on the O&G market and the Sales Lead role for GE O&G TMS and DTS business in Korea.
Essential Responsibilities: The Korean EPC KAM and Sales Director TMS/DTS will be accountable for overall support to the O&G Korean EPC while ensuring profitable growth for the TMS and DTS business. In this role, he will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Work close closely with all the Korean EPCs and ship builders to secure Turbomachinery Solutions and Downstream Technology Solutions projects for Asia Pacific and other regions Maximise the GE Store across all GE Business by mapping and supporting the full Projects scope and portfolio. Establish GE O&G Digital strategy and footprint across Korean O&G EPCs in collaboration with GE O&G Digital Solutions and Ge Digital. Work with the DTI and Project Management organization to ensure growth while execution current Projects Support the Demand to Inquiry (DTI) process, establishing a systematic business mapping with the purpose of identifying existing and new market opportunities, and position our products for future firm tenders. Support the Account Project Management team in early detection and resolutions of Customer issue Coordinate relationships and interface with Commercial Operations, Technical Sales, Product management and other functions Work with GGO Team to identify sales opportunities and NPI needs to serve Korean EPCs and Shipbuilders. Responsible for identification of new accounts as well as focus on maintaining existing accounts. Train / coach sales representatives across all the GE O&G businesses present in Korea Build upon internal relationships and partner with peers and management to enhance selling techniques and approaches
Qualifications/Requirements: - Engineering Degree or equivalent - At least 10 - 15 years of experience in sales, strategic planning or commercial roles, preferably turbomachinery related products and services Oil & Gas industry understanding and specific expertise - Customer-centric mind-set, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions and to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers - Ability to execute and communicate sales strategies in a global environment, to achieve the aggressive sales goals of the company commercial experience and attitude
