Role Summary: As Senior Business Product Leader on Transmissions you will be responsible to identify and suggest the optimal alignment of product's offer vs Customer demand requirements. With this mission, you will coordinate all the functions and process owners in order to develop value propositions and maximize our growth and profitability potential. You will be responsible for the overall business Post Position strategy to grow Avio Aero in the transmissions Market and contribute in the long-term planning.
Provide strategy leadership for accessory, power transmissions and mechanical drives as well as other related hardware, formulate and support the execution of strategies that capitalize on Avio Aero's competitive strengths;
Interact with Customers (supported by Sales, Engineering & Manufacturing Experts) to understand needs, interest and product trends (volumes, technical requirements, CTQs, etc.);
Link and lead all Avio Aero functional capabilities to identify key product value drivers;
Define and articulate Avio Aero Product attributes and value proposition for different applications, pursuing to the extent possible product standardization;
Measure Avio Aero's cost, quality and delivery competitiveness at product and component level;
Provide source information on competitor's capabilities and articulate Avio Aero's key differentiators;
Support marketing activities to illustrate Avio Aero advantages and distinctive capabilities;
Suggest areas of potential investment to improve Avio Aero's product value and attractiveness;
Identify potential Risk of product substitutes and/or entry of disruptive technologies.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent;
Strong experience in Sales and/or Program Management and/or Customer Support roles with a close interaction with customers;
Proven and consistent experience in the industry field;
Proven knowledge and/or expertise on transmissions, gearboxes;
Finance knowledge and understanding;
Ability to master propulsion system level requirements and performance drivers;
Willingness to travel to customers/partners as appropriate;
Italian and English Fluency;
EU Work Permit.
Strong background on helicopter platforms, and related market;
Excellent communications skills;
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
Self-motivated and able to operate in a low structure environment;
