Role Summary: The finance SAP implementation leader will be located in Kariwa factory in Niigata Prefecture and would lead SAP implementation for the Dresser Japan and Kariwa factory. The key responsibilities would be leading the wing to wing SAP implementation project together with global SAP implementation team. While the main focus would be finance related areas, the leader is also expected to take lead on the overall SAP implementation on the Dresser Japan including commercial and supply chain areas.
Essential Responsibilities: • Be responsible for leading the SAP implementation for Dresser Japan together with global SAP implementation team • Develop the SAP implementation strategy and manage all aspects required for the implementation • Understand the current operational procedures and gather the functional requirements • Conduct gap analysis between current operational procedures and SAP based procedures • Develop process gap fulfillment plans and lead team to execute necessarily changes • Lead team to prepare the data masters required for the SAP implementation • Support each functional team to list up user acceptance scenarios required for testing the system • List up KPIs / reports required for the business analysis and work with SAP team to establish datamart to populate those required data • Ensure newly developed procedures to be compliant with SOX / controllership or other compliance requirements • Take ownership on managing the budget and cost related to the SAP implementation
Qualifications/Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting, audit, or IT experience • Bachelor’s degree in finance or computer science related from an accredited college or university preferred • Experience on leading the ERP (e.g. Oracle, SAP) implementation preferred • Business level Japanese / English capability • Knowledge of finance: STAT and TAX, US GAAP preferred • Ability to lead and manage project with multi-functional team • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate commitment to meet deadlines • Ability to work in cross functional environment and matrix organization • Ability to challenge status quo and influence cross-functional and global counterparts
