Role Summary:
The Clearwater site Quality Leader will be responsible for the product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. This role requires seasoned and deep understanding of quality and manufacturing concepts, approaches and methodology. The successful candidate has expertise on the level of electronics and electro-mechanical component assembly.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition you will :


  • Serve as the site's focal point for Quality with customers, headquarters, and auditors
  • Conduct recruitment, selection, development, and promotion of the Quality team
  • Execute strategies related to quality assurance and quality control of products, services, and manufacturing processes, including OE Factory Support and AM Shop Support
  • Own and drive Customer Quality initiatives, in support of the identified customers
  • Ensure the Supplier Quality alignment, and serve as the site’s liaison in connecting all the stakeholders
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to monitor and drive all process improvement activities
  • Drive preventive and corrective actions to assure product compliance to specifications
  • Ensure that products and services perform according to quality standards and that manufacturing processes are capable and qualified
  • Work on complex technological solutions
  • Solve issues and develop new solutions through usage of methods and approaches with some precedence
  • Have authority in the network of experts and in project teams
  • Present product / program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leaders (EB and SEB) across GE
  • Input and influence decisions within own discipline and area.
  • Communicate recommendations and solutions across direct organization and with cross-functional partner organizations
  • Be involved in complex decision making sometimes with external parties

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Quality

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :


  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
