Role Summary: Responsible for X-ray and CT detectors (XRD & CTD) IB dashboard and strategic data analysis, detector IB quality management, IB projects management and change control. The position provides exposure to the entire XRD & CTD business and requires communication with all functions in the organization and will be involved in the full life cycle of the product from definition to verification/validation and installed base support.
Essential Responsibilities: 1. Major interface with modality IB teams and key contact window with global IDT IB leaders. 2. Working and coordinating with product champions, system engineering manager and function manager to assign engineers to conduct failure mode root cause investigation and fix detector IB issue quickly. 3. Detector failure modes dashboard analysis including but not limited by defect detector/parts autopsy and design for assembly/machining issues. 4. Identifies and tracks main detector failure modes, highlights detector quality early warning to product champions, global IB leaders and business leaders, initiates potential detector quality improvement projects. 5. Maintaining effective quality systems compliant with GE Quality policies and Six Sigma standards. 6. Works independently and possesses a level of functional expertise necessary to influence and execute technical and project delivery execution. 7. ECCB chairman for XRD & CTD
Qualifications/Requirements: 1. Master degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent. 2. 5-year relative work experience including handling CSO, Compliant, Investigation, Non-Conformance, CAPA and Engineering Design Change. 3. Demonstrated technical domain knowledge by being current on engineering design principles, architectures and advancements in clinical and engineering concepts and technologies. Knowledge of X-ray & CT systems or X-ray & CT detectors is the best. 4. Demonstrated problem-solving techniques. 5. Demonstrated ability to make recommendations to technical and program leadership to improve the product, process or technology. 6. Effective communication skills and boundaryless behavior—ability to present ideas clearly and concisely. 7. Demonstrated organizational, functional, and leadership expertise to lead a small team on a project, sub-system or platform initiative.

Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. 2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. 3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Design for Reliability (DFR) or Design for Service (DFS) or 6sigma DMAIC or DFSS experience. 8. Candidate to have very strong customer focus.
