Role Summary: Learns the practical application of engineering principals, achieves expertise in Mechanical Engineering, and investigates new techniques as part of a team. Responsible for designing Mechanical product/subsystem release solutions.
Essential Responsibilities: Duties include (but are not limited to): • Leading innovative & cost effective industrial design for NPI • Leading design visualization efforts with 3D CAD ( I-DEAS, pro-E) models and essential component and assembly details to explore multiple design options • Developing innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability • Developing engineering design concepts for components and electromechanical assemblies that have tough requirements for size, precision, reliability and cost • Leading quality engineering projects that provide imaginative solutions to engineering and customer issues • Developing and maintaining mechanical subsystem quality and engineering project funnel • Influencing cross-functional teams to implement quality actions • Delivering improvements to customer focused metrics • Providing guidance and requirements to new product development teams in order to improve quality of new releases • Validating product sub-system reliability performance
1. BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (defined as 7 years relative engineering experience) 2. At least 5 years experience in mechanical design. 3. Design experience of Plastic , Aluminum, Rubber, Sheet metal parts. 4. English communication skill

Desired Characteristics: 1. Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4 years relevant work experience 2. Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities 3. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task 4. Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills 5. Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets 6. Effective oral and written communication skills 7. Global project experience 8. EMC compatible design/solution experience 9. Circuit design and simulation tool experience 10. Knowledge of UL/ETL/IEC standards and how they apply to designs 11. Green Belt/Black Belt Certified
