Role Summary:
The Imaging Account Manager is responsible for creating and winning sales opportunities for their products/solutions/services in an assigned territory, or in a list of named accounts or both. The Imaging Account Manager may work individually in an account or territory, or where applicable act as part of a One GE Healthcare team

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Achieve diagnostic imaging sales and orders volumes at the target prices in assigned accounts/territory.
  • Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio, and qualifying new leads to maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel for future sales.
  • Penetrate competitive accounts for GE Healthcare and convert these customers to GE Healthcare customers.
  • Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities on assigned products in assigned territory.
  • Sales negotiation and deal closure at the customer, interfacing with all key buying influencers such as direct users of the product, but also department heads and CXO level personnel.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of GE and competitive products.
  • Build relationships, develop a business strategy, and maximize business opportunities for all GE Healthcare Imaging businesses, products & services within allocated accounts/territory.
  • Represent One GEHC and acts as a primary customer point of contact in the allocated accounts/territory.
  • Provide on-going feedback to management, product teams, services and marketing.
  • Develop & maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through consistent high quality interactions with customer management.
  • Lead and leverage Product Sales Specialists, Coordinate One GE Healthcare team on assigned accounts in order to deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Follow all applicable GE policies, procedures and operating mechanisms.
  • Proactively participate in company initiatives depending on organizational needs and as directed by management.
  • Ensure knowledge of and compliance with Quality, Regulatory, integrity and company policies.
  • Forecast orders and sales within the applicable sales funnel tools and reports for their products/solutions/services in their assigned territory/accounts

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of selling experience in a healthcare commercial sales role or graduate of a GE commercial training program.
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong capacity and drive to develop career.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English.
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages.
  • Excellent organizational skills Excellent negotiation & closing skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Valid motor vehicle license

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or Country / Int’l Law is broken.
  • Ownership of order and configuration quality at the point of entry to ensure accuracy, configuration integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs.
  • Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Proven and progressive previous experience in sales/services/promotion to C-suite and technical decision makers e.g. CEOs, Strategic Planning Directors, Facilities/Estates managers, Biomedical Engineers, nursing staff, medical specialty staff (Anesthesiology, Radiology, Intensive care, Nuclear Physicists etc.)
