Role Summary: To Serve as Senior OeBS Finance consultant. The role would require a dynamic and talented candidate who is proactive and has excellent communication skills with very strong knowledge in Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement processes. Role requires the candidate to be well aware of global enterprises support models.
Essential Responsibilities: • Collect and analyze business requirements for processes enhancements, • Provide suggestions to improve business processes automated in OeBS, • Develop functional design: work with business stakeholders and users to understand business requirements and translate those into functional requirements, specifications (functional design - MD50) and other documentations, • Work closely with IT counterparts (GE teams & 3rd parties) to develop a joint solution which meets business requirements • Analyze and advise if globally proposed solutions meet local requirements, • Develop, test and pass to deployment system setups, • Develop test scripts (cases), user guides and training materials • Inform business stakeholders and users on system changes which could impact operational processes, involve them into testing if needed • Create and deliver user trainings • Ensure efficient knowledge transfer process during organizational changes • Mentor and guide operational teams & Subject Matter Experts on OeBS R12 system functionality, • Work on different organizational levels (from users to leadership teams) in issue escalation process, problem management and service reviews. • Provide how-to consultancy and support in the areas not covered by global support models to end users and operational team members • Handover typical issues resolutions and frequently asked questions to lower support levels • Support Global Operations team in their day-to-day activities, ensure they are aware of any OeBS technical and business process changes • Builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint • Support Service Delivery Lead on closing and regular activities
Qualifications/Requirements: • Higher education/Bachelor's Degree in Information technology or Finance/Economics (specialization in accounting is an advantage) or 4-5 years OeBS work experience • Minimum 3-5 years of OeBS experience in Payables • Full cycle experience (and working knowledge) in configuring OeBS R12 in areas: Payables, iProcurement, Purchasing, Inventory, General ledger, Cash management • Working knowledge in PL/SQL • At least 2 completed projects on OeBS R12 • Knowledge of Russian accounting principles and IFRS (or US GAAP) at least for payables, payments, VAT, CIT areas • Proven experience in functional areas and business processes optimization • Upper-Intermediate English (both oral and writing skills) • Strong analytical skills, time management skills, ability to prioritize and multi task, ability to routinely make effective and timely decisions in alignment with management direction is required. • Ability to build effective communication with internal IT teams and clients • Ability to work cross-functionally in a high stress, high demand situation • Strong team player collaborating well with others to solve problems • Able to work with diverse and geographically distributed teams (Russia, US, EU, India, etc) • Strong written and verbal communication skills including, design discussion, proof of concept • MS Excel experienced user
