Role Summary:
The Cellular Analysis and Tools application scientist within the Cell Analysis Modality will be responsible for providing the formal technical support during the sales process in the Benelux & Nordic region. Responsibilities may include providing the required scientific Seminars, pre-sale product demonstrations as well as post-sale installation, training and/or customer service activities to support sales objectives. Responsibilities will also include ongoing post-sale customer support.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership during sales process by demonstrating full range of product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers as needed
• Work with Sales Specialist(s) to meet/exceed territory sales targets. Conduct sales support related activities such as technical seminars, instrument demonstrations, and sample projects (Proof of Principle) within the respective territory.
• Develop, coordinate and deliver product training to customers on software, application and/or equipment use, monitor customer installations to improve customer satisfaction and maintain customer relationships
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers. Manage customer expectations while providing a high level of customer support during pre- and post-sales support activities. Communicate with customers to help them understand methodologies, applications and how to use the product(s) properly.
• Improve customer satisfaction and socket retention through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer
• Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and promotion as well as customer training
• Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies
• Produce well-written post-training reports and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs
• Support occasionally colleagues in other regions when the need occurs

Qualifications/Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent knowledge and experience and proven related lab experience in Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or Biochemistry
• Proven experience in sales or support role such as field applications, technical support, marketing, product specialist or product management
• Experience in the field of High Content Analysis (HCA) and Microscopy with a good understanding of Imaging analysis software
• Excellent customer engagement skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills (ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to external customers, global counterparts and to team members in other functional organizations)
• Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired)
• Proven ability to contribute in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Working knowledge of computers and their operating systems
• Must be willing to travel (estimated 40+%)
• Based in region Benelux & Nordics
• EU work permit

Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters degree in Life Science related curriculum or equivalent knowledge and experience
• Proven laboratory experience using Microscopy, Cellular Imaging Tools and High Content analysis instruments
• Proven teaching or training experience including design and delivery of basic and advanced concepts to technical and/or non-technical individuals
• Demonstrated ability to understand and present complex material in understandable terms
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities and undertake challenging tasks and/or global projects
• Ability to prioritize activities to ensure customer satisfaction while maximizing profits
• A strong scientific/technical personality and self-motivation
• Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve
• Willingness to be flexible/adapt to changing work environments
• Fluency in English & local language
