Role Summary: The Business Development role is primarily responsible for Primary Care and Emerging Care product segment. The candidate should identify and work with packagers across the country. Candidate should work closely with the sales team and channel partner. The objective is to achieve good coverage from a defined business territory in accordance with the Country/Regional/Segment Business Plan.
Essential Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
•Develop a strategy to build a network of packagers for offering Primary Care Ultrasound solutions. Work closely with country teams to achieve sales targets.
•Actively manage the relationship with packagers,distributors and other GE product line managers.
•Build a training plan for the network of packagers on Primary Care Solutions.
•Work hand-in-hand with in-country sales team and align with overall GEHC Ultrasound strategy in Vietnam.
•Accurately forecast the market size, visibility and coverage across Vietnam. Sales and growth opportunities within designated territory, using sales tools and applications.
•Prepare and participate in business reviews/forecasts for Regional Sales Management, to ensure a constant flow of information between Channel/Distributor and the Company.
•Maintain an awareness of healthcare trends, competitor activities and developments to ensure that this information is collected and made available to the Region Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements: •Bachelor’s Degree
•Minimum of 10-15 years of experience including consulting, strategic selling and negotiation with at least 4-5 years at packager
•Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process
•Experience in medical equipment industry is of great advantage.
•Strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages
•Willingness and ability to travel within the specified geographic region
