Role Summary:
The Senior Data & Analytic Manager will be working with overall EPM team to deliver Essbase and Planning technical design, build and implementation of Enterprise Standard as well as maintenance & support strategy post implementation by partnering with functional leader together. The role requires to interact with internal Oil & Gas EPM team & business as well as overall Corporate infrastructure team intensively to deliver solutions which best optimized for Oil & Gas.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Senior Data & Analytic Manager you will:

  • Partner with the Oil & Gas EPM team & Corporate Enterprise Standard team to complete the development and implementation of Enterprise standard Essbase and Planning
  • Lead to deliver Essbase and Planning design, build and technical implementation partnering with overall EPM team leaders from all aspects, HFM, DRM, FDMee etc.
  • Maintain and sustain Essbase and Planning post implementation
  • Partner with functional leaders of Essbase / Planning and across all EPM products to develop and maintain an efficient on- going process that maximizes toolset capabilities

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Finance from accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT or finance IT experience with a strong Essbase and Planning expertise

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Extensive technical architecture experience with Essbase & Planning
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Essbase ASO & BSO scripting
  • Prior experience of tactical involvement in Hyperion / EPM deployments highly beneficial
  • Prior hands-on experience of global data integration and global project implementation
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written), interacting within matrixed organization
  • Ability to adjust to varying priorities in a dynamic environment, work under pressure, prioritize tasks & to meet deadlines
  • Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex challenges and technical issues
  • Previous internal GE working experience

    PLEASE NOTE: Houston, Texas is the preferred location, however other U.S. locations may be considered.
