Role Summary: At GhostRed we will become the face of GE Digital to ambitious engineers as we define what it means to be the Digital Industrial. We will bolster the talent pipeline by delivering a global, game-driven, competition platform. GE’s transformation to the Digital Industrial relies on our ability to put the best to work on the most important effort of our generation, the industrial internet. Within the first 3 months, as the Full Stack Engineer, you will take charge of architecting, and delivering the GhostRed build pipeline, along with the secure sandbox to house our dynamic industrial control system simulations. The platform you deliver must instantiate on demand, for events anywhere in the world, of any size, and any duration.

You should take pride in an efficient CI/CD pipeline, immutable servers, your ability to execute daily commits, and successful blue/green deployments with zero downtime.
BS in IT, CS, or minimum of 4 years comparable industry experience
2 years of experience in Software Engineering
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
Experience with AWS managed services including CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Lambda, and Elastic Beanstalk
Experience building and securing AWS networking services: VPC, EC2, route 53, etc.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience in continuous integration and deployment
Experience with 1 or more of the following: Ruby, Python, or Java
Knowledge of functional and load test frameworks
