Role Summary: The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for industry and product-related strategy, planning and deliverables. The role includes working with product management teams to develop product and solution messaging and new outcome-based insights, as well as deliverables supporting sales enablement, awareness, and demand generation programs for GE Digital Oil & Gas.
Essential Responsibilities: Reporting to the Product Marketing Leader, the Product Marketing Manager will work with product management, subject matter experts and sales teams to shape compelling and differentiated product marketing strategies, messaging and insights around APM and Production Optimization products and solutions. The role will also collaborate with Communications, Sales Enablement, Regional Marketing and Demand Gen teams create and deliver impactful thought leadership and demand generation programs.
This role requires a creative, yet analytical individual with experience marketing B2B software solutions to LOB and IT buyers. It will leverage the right candidate’s strengths and experience in software product positioning, market sizing, written and visual communications, and program management. Because internal integration in a complex corporate environment is an important aspect of the job, an aptitude for relationship-building, diplomacy, grace-under-pressure and good judgment is required.
Experienced software marketing professional with minimum 5 years of experience in the B2B space,
Minimum 3 years experience working in a large corporate environment,
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA a plus.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Must be willing to travel (up to 30% of the time)
Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA
Deep experience working with complex enterprise software applications; SaaS/PaaS experience a plus
Passion for technology and the ability to translate technology capabilities into business value for a variety of buyer personas.
Excellent people and agency management, project management and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively juggle content strategy and development that spans from highly creative to very technical
Self-starter able to work successfully across complex matrix of stakeholders

Knowledge of SaaS/PaaS business models and commercial best practices and cloud infrastructure technologie.
