Role Summary: The Global Marketing & Strategy Manager (m/f) demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will conceive effective integrated marketing initiatives that drive revenue and promote advocacy. You will develop and integrate marketing processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within area of expertise, be involved in long-term strategic planning, while contributing to the overall strategy execution.
Proven ability to gather and drive meaningful customer insights across the organization
Create effective outcome-based campaigns and thought leadership initiatives that boost customer engagement and drive revenue opportunities
Develop industry specific value propositions based on customer needs/challenges and market opportunities, and understand entitlement per industry segment. Drive customer segmentation
Provide market intelligence, competitive intelligence, customer intelligence and data analytics to support commercial, product management and technology
Lead development of overall business vision and strategy based on market trends and competitive analysis
Partner with Product General Managers and Region General Managers to new products and services. Drive engineering team to support needs-based product and service value proposition, based on data
Focus on planning and helping in execution of entry strategies for new product lines, especially the ones related to software and digital.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Marketing or Business Admin
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Marketing
Relevant experience in Product Marketing and/or Product Management
Experience in B2B technology sectors, including products, services, and SW/Digital
Knowledge of Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Power Gen industry is desirable
Sound understanding of the NDT market dynamics
Preference for candidate with B2B Digital/Software experience around industrial products (automation, inspection, measurement/control, or similar).
Knowledge of GE products, software and services is desirable
Understanding of competitive landscape is a plus
Demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects successfully
