Role Summary: The Project Quality Manager (PQM) will lead all the quality activities for the assigned project. The purpose is to meet the overall quality requirements of the project, including quality control, inspections, documentation and assurance to the satisfaction of the customer.
Essential Responsibilities: Lead all the quality activities for the project. Prepare and oversee the Inpection and Test Plan (ITP). Keep a close interface with the customer's quality department for all matters related to quality for the assigned project. Organize all the quality related documentation and secure the fulfillment of the required quality standards. Participate in inspections, kick off meeting with vendors and customer related inspection and quality control activities. Lead the QC team assigned to the project.
Qualifications/Requirements: University graduate in engineering field At least 5 years experience in leading quality activities for projects. Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive QC team across the region Strong oral and written communication capability in English and Japanese languages Experience and knowledge in industrial manufacturing procedures Expertise in quality assurance methods/procedures Experience reviewing quality documentation and auditing quality programs
