Role Summary: The System Simulation & Tools development team is responsible for wind turbine system loads simulation and the development of its software tools. It also signs for needed global server environment The tools development team is seeking a Lead Engineer being responsible for server administration and software program management on existing simulation tools environment.
Essential Responsibilities: • Administrate global server environment including planned and unplanned maintenance, user access rights, security guidelines and event reporting • Identify, plan and execute hardware update needs • Project management and execution of software developments sub projects including testing and validation • Develop concepts for integrated software solutions for NPI and MLA simulation environment • Apply state of the art source code languages to new projects and existing tool set • Execute and develop projects following the agile software development methodology • Organize and execute tasks following sprint planning and definition of milestones • Develop software test procedures and requirements • Work with independent consultants & external resources • Present results to project team and to leadership
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor / Master of Computer science or software engineering • professional software development experience • Project management experience, with demonstrated ability to independently lead and coordinate tasks to execute a software development project • Ability to work and lead in a matrix organizational environment • System or product-level mindset
