Essential Responsibilities: The Performance Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the plant performance on combined cycle generation facility. Evaluate plant performance against predetermined bench marks. The suitable candidate shall perform the following tasks. ·Calculate performance of critical plant equipment like HRSG, Gas turbines, Steam Turbine, cooling Tower etc · Evaluate plant overall as well as individual equipment performance against designed performance bench marks and identify negative drivers in case of declined performance. · Prepare plant performance reports to depict plant performance snapshot in terms of key performance indicators. · Prepare and execute mitigation plan to fix performance and efficiency issues related the plant equipments/systems. ·Establish energy management system in line with ISO standards ISO 50001 for systematic evaluation, continual improvement and documentation of the plant performance.
Qualifications/Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a Field Services role)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: -Three years of experiience in power plant operation/performance evaluation.
Desired Characteristics: ·Excellent communication skills, fluent in spoken as well written english. -Knowledge of thermodynamics cycles governing operation of steam turbine, gas turbine and other equipment normally installed in the power plant. -Knowledge of power plant operation, impact of key parameters which can potentially impact plant performance. -Ability to optimize the plant operating parameters to maximize energy efficiency. -Communicate effectively with plant management to update plant performance issues. -Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
