Role Summary:
Business Overview:
DGS is a $3 billion plus global business with 3,000 global employees that specializes in X-Ray technologies across the entire continuum of care – from screening and diagnostics to enabling intervention and therapy. The business includes Women’s Health, Radiography & Fluoroscopy, Interventional Angiography, Cardiology and Surgery systems with the purpose of touching the world with earlier answers and more hope to improve health and extend life.

Essential Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for designing and developing complex software modules in exciting mobile X-ray products. Role also includes participation in planning, tracking software development tasks within a small group of engineers in accordance with software development lifecycle process, and developing innovative platform solutions.
In this role you will:
• Be responsible for defining, designing and developing software using latest software development technologies and infrastructure
• Understand X-ray product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while owning an assigned component or module
• Translate requirements into design, and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
• Participate in design reviews and define, develop interfaces between code modules
• Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities
• Work cross functionally with other software teams to align activities and deliverables
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
• Writes codes that meets standards to deliver software functionality in X-ray systems Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
• Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen
• Design and develop unit tests

Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development
• Strong analytical skills, knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Software Design Patterns
• Experience with Unix / Linux based platforms and core C/C++
• Experience in software development cycle
• Working knowledge in configuration management tools

• Must be willing to work out of an office located in Waukesha, WI
