Role Summary: The Senior Sales Manager leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business or is a recognized expert in oi l& gas exploration and production field. In this role you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Responsibilities: • Promote GE Subsea & Drilling product and solutions in China market to meet objectives of Orders, Sales and Margin. Develop effective market and transactional strategies in line with business objectives. • Define, implement and execute on marketing and commercial strategies with the objectives of driving customers satisfaction, maximizing market penetration, identifying new business opportunities and ultimately driving growth of Orders, Sales and Margin. • Provide deal leadership through the formulation and execution of proposal strategies that capitalize on GE's competitive strengths to serve the customer's needs resulting in execution of definitive sales agreements. • Manage the sales proposal process from opportunity identification through contract flow down to key GE organizations. • Lead deal strategy development and reviews, ultimately obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, delivery and other commercial terms for specific sales proposals. • Assist product company regional general manager in identifying new opportunities and creating sales analysis for the assigned sales region. • Build customer relationships and communication at all levels. • Support strategically customer credit and collection issues. • Matrix with existing functional and Product Company teams to achieve growth objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Engineering Degree or equivalent • 10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas with good Oil & Gas industry, understanding and specific expertise in Subsea & Drilling products or solutions will be a good plus. • Can justify previous experience in technical and/or commercial role with track record of growth • Customer-centric mind-set, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions and to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers • Native level of fluency in Chinese and business level of English capability • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills • Strong influencing and relationship building skills • Ability to execute and communicate sales strategies in a global environment, to achieve the aggressive sales goals of the company
