Role Summary:
This role acts as the Advertising & Promotion (Ad & Promo) Business Partner for Japan and is responsible for developing and driving Ad and Promo strategies for region (Japan) or product marketing programs leveraging advertising, exhibits, collateral/sales tools production and digital communications platforms. This role coordinates with Experts and Shared Services to deliver on marketing objectives by developing and executing programs.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Working with the region Marketing team to develop and execute strategic Ad & Promo, Digital Marketing plans and Demand Generation programs for Japan
• Identifying proper Expert and Shared Service resources to leverage
• Lead Ad & Promo team in Japan
• Ensuring compliance of all Ad & Promo materials
• Overseeing Ad & Promo and Digital Marketing budget for Japan
• Sharing lessons learned across the team using established global processes
• Working with marketing leaders to establish S2 Ad & Promo Budget
• Liaising with Communications team (PR & Orgcomm) to develop integrated communications strategy
• Monitoring program success and reporting program results to marketing
• Evaluating processes and strategies to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and tools designed for both the market and sales force

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field
2. 10+ years of experience in communications, advertising or marketing communications or related field
3. Proven ability to motivate and work effectively with diverse, cross-functional global teams, multiple levels (including executive level) and outside vendors
4. Ability to influence, make recommendations and drive change at all levels of the company
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
6. Proven track record of delivery to tight budgets and timelines
7. Strong analytical and process skills
8. Excellent knowledge of integrated communications strategy and the Marketing Mix (Print, Digital, Events)

1. MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing
2. Communications/campaign project management

4. Experience with marketing automation & CRM tools a plus
5. Basic marketing skills
6. Healthcare product/industry acumen
7. In-depth knowledge of product offerings and commercial processes
8. Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
