Essential Responsibilities: The Asset Recovery Commerical Region Leader will be responsible for building setting and driving the region strategy to increase asset recovery. This is a key leadership role resonsible to work with sales and service leadership throughout the APAC & Asian region to drive increased sales through trade-in opportunities. Building infrustructure, developing processes, tools and relationships to identify and recover GEHC assets from the APAC installed base will be key mechanism to achieve our strategy. This is a new role and will require an innovative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally and globally. Pre-owned equipment & parts sales is a $2B business globally with growth rates of 5%/year. GEHC is investing in significant growth in this market segment. Business growth is dependent on recovering supply from our Installed base customer sockets. Identifying pre-owned product & harvest gaps, developing commercial trade-in programs partnering with our sales team, National Account managers, modality marketing, pricing and commerical operations teams to build infrustructure, develop processes, and relationships to identify and recover GEHC assets from our installed base will be a key part of this role. Additional responsiblities include:
• Develop a prioritized strategy across the entire APAC region for asset returns constent with business pre-owned parts and system sales worldwide. • Strong communication of process and value proposition into each APAC country to building a trade-in culture. • Interface with Global Parts and Repair Solutions (GPRS) Material Productivity team to understand equipment needed for harvest programs. • Lead, grow & strengthen the direct buy process working with cross functional field teams and HQ teams including, but not limited to sales, service, sourcing, commercial operations, finance, HR, sourcing & GPRS. • Promote communicate and gain shared buy-in across sales & service using CAP. • Design & develop incentive prorgrams utilizing IT, Support central and linkage into sales and service platforms such as SFDC & Seibel. • Build strong customer relationships through the buying process working with hospitals, clinics, third parties, distributors, etc. • Manage reverse logistics for acquired assets where necessary, including payments, on-site testing/de-installation/packaging, transportation, inter-pole shipments, etc. • Develop tools to track and report asset recovery efforts for each specific country, establishing operating mechanisms, reporting and process improvement.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelors degree plus minumum of 4 years in project leader, sales related commerical roles. • Minimum of 2 years working in a matrics cross functional environment. • Experience working with commercial teams leading initiatives • Experience with the CAP process to communicate and drive change • Experience leading teams either as direct reports or through program management • Ability to work effectively across functions to deliver results and execute multiple commitments within the Global Environment • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint • Experience successfully designing and implementing a new program from beginning • Multitasking abilities to drive critical issues simultaneously • Resourcefulness, commitment, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills • Strong English & Japanees language skills
Desired Characteristics: • Commercial/modality team experience with developing and implementing sales promotions • Sourcing, distribution and logistics experience • Experience in working with Installed Base team and/or service; product knowledge • Experience working across regions/cultures and internal/external stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to drive and manage change initiatives in a global environment • Experience interfacting and presenting to senior leadership
