Role Summary:
As the Logistics - Customs Intern, you will support the Hub/Country Customs Leader or other Program manager in support of Customs projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Audit – support customs audit activities of international shipments and related customs broker billings
  • Process improvement – Continuous monitoring and improvement of customs related processes
  • Customs compliance – support preferential origin calculation for free trade agreements
  • Project management – support customs related projects
  • Reporting –Trend Analysis; Preparation of reports and presentation for internal management reviews
  • Data collection - Import and export customs related data collection and reconciliation
  • Document retention– document filing, audit document retention process, identify gaps
  • Relationship management – communicate with internal and external stakeholders


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Strong command of English (+ other European language is an advantage)
  • Ongoing studies preferably in Logistics / Supply chain management
  • Ability to work at least 30 hours/week
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Power user of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to meet commitments within strict deadlines
  • Clear thinking
  • Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary
