Role Summary: This role is responsible for providing cross-functional support to develop & execute on pricing strategy. Develop and implement analytic tools on volume & margin impact to assess risk and ensure compliance. Define key pricing policies & strategies including the development of target prices for products across their life cycle.
Essential Responsibilities: • Facilitate pricing programs by working with Pricing Leaders, Sales leaders and Marketing across the business unit. • Perform data analysis to support ad hoc pricing projects; draw pricing related insights from data analysis. • Support New Product Introduction pricing analysis. • Providing financial modeling of deals that takes into account to total GE profitability. • Assisting in the development of Tools & Metrics leading to more robust deal decisions and predictability. • Creating Product Level Targets for the Commercial Sales team, driving a strong balance between price & volume. • Driving compliant competitive analysis that provides an understanding of how GE’s price and offering compares to others; integrate with win-loss analysis. • Leading specific process improvement activities to improve overall Inquiry to Order Process. • Partner with upstream and downstream marketing teams on ad hoc pricing projects.
Qualifications/Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration 2. 5+ years experience in pricing, marketing, finance or a related field 3. Demonstrated skill to clearly analyze financial proposals, generate alternatives and provide negotiation support 4. Successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement 5. Demonstrated ability to understand market dynamics and successfully counsel Sales teams to win and grow volume while optimizing price / margin. 6. Excellent verbal and written skills
Desired Characteristics: 1. Master’s Degree in Business/Finance and Corporate Audit Staff 2. 7+ years experience in pricing, marketing, finance or a related field 3. Strong track record of working collaboratively to tackle cross-functional issues 4. Demonstrated analytical and statistical problem solving skills 5. Excellent Communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing 6. Greenbelt Certified; experience in Lean and Value Stream Mapping. Skilled in driving change in key business processes 7. Proven record of accomplishment of establishing and managing project plans, adjusting to changing circumstances. Prioritizes and effectively controls key milestones. 8. In-depth knowledge of product offerings and commercial processes 9. Effective at building relationships across the organization 10. Leadership and influence skills 11. Team oriented – ability work well with diverse, cross-functional teams 12. Healthcare industry experience 13. Global Project experience
