Role Summary: Students will be exposed to our GE Hitachi Nuclear business, which provides a perfect opportunity for us to learn about you and your interests and for you to learn about GE and a career with us. GE Hitachi Nuclear Field Services is seeking Co-operative Education Candidates for its Field Services business.
Essential Responsibilities: The Nuclear Field Services Co-Op will have the opportunity to work with experienced field service engineers in a fast paced challenging environment performing maintenance activities on Boiling Water Reactors. You will have the opportunity to attend entry level technical training as well as travel to a domestic nuclear refueling outage. At the outage you will be required to gain un-escorted access to the plant site and participate in outage activities.
High School Diploma / GED
Must be enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate program with an engineering discipline as your primary major
Ability and willingness to travel up to 100% of the time during the specified co-op period
Strong commitment to a career in field service engineering and a career with GE Hitachi Nuclear
Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
Demonstrated leadership ability
Previous Nuclear Power Experience
Listens, consults others and communicates proactively
