Essential Responsibilities: Co-ops joining the Current, powered by GE team have opportunities to complete technical assignments in a variety of product areas and across a broad range of engineering and technical functions (New Product Introduction, Design Engineering, Application Engineering, Cost-out Engineering, and Innovation). Our program offers students the opportunity to gain experience and develop skills by working directly with engineering teams on projects that have a significant impact on the business.
These positions are for Current, powered by GE Team in Cleveland, Ohio. We have challenging opportunities for both co-ops and summer interns in all of our LED product lines as well as Controls / Smart Environments. The benefits of the co-op / intern experience extend beyond the valuable work assignments, competitive wages, and housing allowances. Students can participate on committees of their peers that offer opportunities to develop leadership skills, perform community service, interact and socialize with other students, and network with the leaders of the company. We also offer training courses to enhance our students' technical and professional skills.
Students who excel in our co-op / intern program are given the opportunity to interview for full time opportunities through our Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP). EEDP is a 2-year program committed to growing our entry-level, high potential employees who possess a passion for engineering, technical excellence, business skills and GE beliefs by accelerating their development through technical training and rotational assignments.
Qualifications/Requirements: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university or college.

Students at Sophomore, Junior, Senior level preferred
