Role Summary: The Inspection Technology (IT) Quality Leader demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and GE company objectives. In this role you will develop and integrate processes with the Quality Management System (QMS) that meet business needs across the organization to solve then prevent quality issues. You will also partner with senior leadership to support long-term planning, and overall business strategy.
Assure quality by design in Product, Software and Service Processes
Resolve top Customer Issues
Lead NPS initiatives to increase promoters and move from transactional to contractual relationships
Resolve top Product and Service defects thereby reducing CoQ
Assure that all activities comply with all applicable government regulations and contract requirements, Audit conformance to quality plans, QMS systems, and requirements; facilitate resolution of all findings
Analyze product and project losses, process deficiencies and voice of customer via KPIs (NPS, CoQ, CM, NCR, CIR, Audits etc.) to prioritize and drive continuous improvement projects supporting business objectives
Establish the culture to STOP THE LINE and escalate all perceived quality issues for formal resolution
Further establish an open communication culture whereby employees exchange ideas and then lead quality innovation through lean six sigma and fastworks methodologies Be responsible for meeting customer/business needs as well as developing direct reports
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Relevant years of experience in a quality management or supply chain management role or equivalent
Relevant years of experience in quality system planning and quality improvement methods
Fluent English language skills; additional language skills, e.g. German nice to have
MBA from an accredited college or university
Additional leadership experience in the areas of Operations, Manufacturing, or Quality is preferred
Demonstrated Commercial, Technical and/or Services leadership leading problem solving teams
Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification is preferred (GE employees only)
Executive level presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to excel in all customer service areas
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
