Role Summary: This is a strategic role that will execute the vision and roadmap for GE Transportation Salesforce Platform. The Salesforce Team Lead demonstrates leadership, functional and technical expertise in the services space (service cloud, sales cloud, servicemax) by aligning with GET Products to drive business outcomes through IT solutions.The lead will leverage existing solutions and global design to drive standardization, simplification & scalability for synergy and improved Return on Investment.
Essential Responsibilities: Become the resident expert and “Change Agent” on cloud services Communicate standards, policies, & compliance requirements Identify critical path decisions; make recommendations, and influence program leaders and business process owners to maximize payback Work with the GET P&L teams to form business requirements and translate them into technical requirements Perform hands-on solution design and proof of concept tasks Conduct solution architect reviews with the project team and system integration teams to ensure the solution is scalable Work with the GE resources (IT security, GE Corporate Infrastructure teams (IIS), GDC vendors, etc.) to create and complete design and build activities with an agile model Identify, analyze and prioritize technical project risks and impacts while provide alternatives to remove any roadblocks Qualify new service technology and software features, and proactively seek service solution best practices within GE and the industry Setup process to document the latest design Brake silos and go beyond your discrete responsibilities to ensure the job gets done Lead the Dev Team (Insourced and Outsourced ) and guide the team in resolving technical challenges and mentor wherever applicable.
Qualifications/Requirements: 10+ years of IT experience in Application Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Administration and integrations. 5+ years of experience as Salesforce Application Design, Development Administration, Testing and Integration in Sales force. Experience working across various SFDC implementations in Sales , Service Cloud , Service Max and Force.com applications. In-depth experience in CRM business processes like Lead, Opportunity, Account , Case, and Contact Management. Experience in designing efficient application in cloud environment using SFDC and Force.com Experience in requirement gathering in cross matrix environment and Architecting /designing the same to convert the requirement into application. Proficiency in SFDC Administrative tasks like creating Profiles, Permission settings, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email Services, Approvals, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks and Events Hands on Experience in Batch Process, Data Migration and Deployment activities.
Desired Characteristics: ADM 401 , DEV 401 , Architect Certification Desirable . Working experience in Sesame/ETL Data load tool #DTR
