Role Summary:
You will be working within SAP COE Technical Delivery Team driving world class technical design leveraging industry standards SAP solution. Support delivery streams with solution architecture across functional domains, specializing Project systems, Treasury, Cash Management, QM domains.
Hands on SAP technical capabilities, application of methodologies and practices that support and enhance business objectives, strategic goals and internal client services engagements.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provides input to information development strategy on a high level.
• Outstanding writing skills, namely a command of grammar, syntax, diction, and the conventions and best practices of writing a variety of technical documents.
• Strong collaboration skills: ability to work with a variety of other writers and cross-functional peers easily, emerging as a leader on the team.
• Excellent knowledge of core technical communication concepts, such as topic-based authoring, minimalism, task-oriented design, single-sourcing.
• Understanding of core information development processes (with collaborative ability to enable both adaption and adoption): content planning, content creation, content review, translation/localization best practices.
• Strong skills in the process of breaking down software processes into tasks necessary to the targeted user and effectively explaining those tasks to the user.
• Ability to understand and research user profiles and to create content targeted appropriately to meet user goals.
• Clear skills in editing (QA for documentation) - ability to recognize errors and opportunities for improvement in a variety of information deliverables.
• Strong ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to research a software product, determine functionality and design features, then communicate those effectively to the user.
• Strong skills with the authoring tools used by the information development teams.
• Strong project management skills: ability to estimate scope and time, create and work to deadlines, collaborate to create a schedule.
• Fundamental understanding of Lean/Agile/XP software development processes, their application to GE projects, and how to follow processes for information development.
• Basic understanding of the major aspects of software design, development, and QA and ability to leverage this understanding to inform execution for information development projects.
• Basic domain and product knowledge, including appropriate terminology, with an awareness of GE Digital product line(s) and offerings, competitive landscapes and associated industries.
• Awareness of how GE Digital drives value to its customers and how the information development function fits into GE Digital’s overall business strategy.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) (or equivalent knowledge/experience)
• Strong relevant experience Implementing and supporting SAP ECC with specialism in one or more components such as BI, Business Objects, PI, Portal, SRM, CRM, BPM and MDM; specializing in the solution design, planning, support and deployment of global SAP implementations.
• Should have worked in at least 3 full life cycle implementations
• Strong background assisting in technical solution architectural design, planning and managing SAP technical delivery

Technical Expertise:
• Strong SAP Technical knowhow with good understanding of cross functional domains including some of the key domains e.g. PS, FI-CO, QM, APO, ePM, Treasury, Cash Management, FSCM etc.
• Good understanding of SAP ABAP with latest knowhow on related technology.
• Technical solution architecture capabilities.
• Participates in domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals.
• Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at project level, aligning architectural requirements with software development strategy.
• Reviews exceptions and makes recommendations to architectural standards at a domain level.
• Understands technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals.
• Understands concepts of setting and driving architecture direction.
• Familiar with elements of gathering architecture requirements.
• Understands architecture standards concepts to apply to project work.
