Role Summary: Are you a skilled Black Belt or Lean Leader with significant experience in process simplification and project execution? Are you passionate and skilled to drive and catalyze a culture change of continuous improvement? If so, join our Simplification team and provide leadership for simplification initiatives in our fast growing Global Operations Center related to your primary functional focus area.
Essential Responsibilities: You will work in close partnership with Operation Leaders, Global Process Leaders, businesses, as well as subject matter experts in Operations to ensure simpler and more effective processes.
Manages complex projects. Leads critical projects related to service quality, productivity, process simplification, digitization and harmonization as required achieving business level cycle-time reduction and quality improvement with significant business impact.
Drives Quality, simplicity and continuous improvement culture in the Center. Develops knowledge sharing strategy. Delivers Lean/Six-sigma/Fastworks trainings and coach project managers.
Partners with key Business/ GO stakeholders to identify and define strategic change opportunities, and provides leadership in the application of Lean Six Sigma methodology to drive simplification across GO processes.
Builds and drives relationship with Business Process Leaders and Global Process Leaders. Effectively works and communicates in a matrix organization.
Provides change leadership using Change Acceleration Process (CAP) methods and tools across assigned critical business initiatives.
Presents ideas, thoughts, and projects to senior management; Project manages and develops rigorous control plans for project execution.
Works closely with Process Owners to develop a strategic and tactical plan for process simplification aligned with the integrated migration schedule.
Facilitates workouts, value stream mapping sessions and activities to achieve project objectives.
Written and verbal fluency in English
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
Experience managing complex, multi-faceted projects; Solid understanding of project methodologies and project execution framework
Black Belt certification and experience in managing Lean and process improvement projects in a transactional environment. Candidates without BB certification will be considered if Lean experience is significant.
Experience in delivering Lean/Six-sigma trainings
Excellent influencing and relationship management skills
Excellent communication & presentation skills, including fluency in English
Strong ownership & accountability, with a proven track record of execution
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions.
Ability to drive process excellence and standardization
Ability to manage people effectively in a matrix
Cultural awareness & sensitivity: ability to flex style to suit differing cultural norms and experience of leading a culturally diverse team
