Role Summary:
The GE Power Enterprise Resource Planning Communications Manager is responsible for leading the internal, external and executive communications for GE Power business transformation and ERP implementation. This role needs to drive stakeholder connections, engagement and advocacy. Additionally, this role provides strategic communications guidance for the ERP leadership team.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and sustain a comprehensive communications plan for GE Power ERP initiatives, including internal, external, social and content communications
  • Ensure communications, training and change plans are aligned by working closely with business change and training teams
  • Executive and stakeholder communications plan and day-to-day engagement with ERP leadership
  • Partner with agencies and other resources in development of creative assets to aid in storytelling, including video, social content.
  • Partner with communications experts in the Power businesses and regions to drive a holistic strategy, ensure alignment and support.
  • Support on operations and strategy for contemporary core employee communications channels to help drive employee purpose, engagement and organizational change management across GE Power
  • Manage key program activities, such as, town halls, all hands broadcasts and local site deployment events




Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
  • Previous experience in ERP or large scale IT transformation or system implementation, working on global rollout activities.
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience driving strategic communications plans.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to tell the ERP story in the most complete, integrated and compelling manner
  • Demonstrate strategic capability of core storytelling digital communications experience skills including outstanding writing ability
  • Experience of designing and developing info graphics, posters, banners and other communications collateral
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, influential communications
  • Advanced investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to multitask and perform well under tight deadlines
  • A self-starter capable of managing several programs / projects simultaneously
