Role Summary: The Lead Contract Performance Manager is responsible for the execution of the Contractual Services Agreement (CSA) in terms of the main contractual obligations and manage overall execution of CSA maintenance contract for a power plant customer in Korea. He/she demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives.
Essential Responsibilities: The Lead Contract Performance Manager demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. • Provide contract administration for assigned proposals and contracts including customer interface, negotiations, preparation, and contract interpretation. • Provide contract management support in the execution of equipment only orders for power plant contracts. • Provide both Customized Service Agreement (CSA) and Time and Material (T&M) program management. • Perform proposal, negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision. • Frequently interface with the customer on contract matters and participate in business and contractual discussions with customer. • Technical Management: First contact point for customer. On-site technical & administrative support/coordination with all other GE components on all outages, repairs/modifications. • Perform team leader responsibilities for assigned programs. • Provide interface liaison with functional organizations and insure proper communication of requirements. • Assure timely resolution of customer issues and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts. • Review invoices and collect cash in a timely manner. • Manage the Contract Margin Review process for assigned contracts. • Interact with Sales team for sales Champaign. • Assist in the establishment of productivity goals by contract and organize and support program and technical reviews with customer. • Determine and flow down customer shop visit forecasts and assist in GE Branded Service Agreement (GBSA) management, warranty determination and administration related to customer owned property. • Any other assignment related to the contract.
Qualifications/Requirements: • University degree in engineering or equivalent with over 10 years of power generation experience. • Project Management expertise, preferably with Turbomachinery technical skills and maintenance knowledge. • Can do and problem solving attitude. • Proficiency in English and good Computer skills. (i.e. Microsoft office) • Strong Turbine technology knowledge and controls experience is advantage. • Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills. • Sound business and financial acumen.
Desired Characteristics: • Self-starter and self-initiated. • Ability to handle routine legal issues such as Notices, Bonds, Insurance, and the like with minimal supervision/coordination with GE Legal Staff. • Ability to work multiple project simultaneously with experience in contract administration or project management is preferred. • Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including upper management. • Prior experience negotiating with customers is preferred. • Strong conflict resolution skills. • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
