Role Summary: The GE Power Service Center in Birr is a repair facility developing, industrializing and globalizing high-tech repair processes for Gas Turbine components. We are looking for a trainee who likes to gain some experiences in a manufacturing environment. A hands on attitude is a must.
Essential Responsibilities: The aim of the internship is to support the technical execution team alignment within all available interfaces, to affirm a constant and stable day by day in a very multitasking environment.
Working within the technical execution team in a multicultural environment of engineers and technicians. Daily contact with the other execution departments as well as other branches within the Service Center and production. Help to manage the daily production input and give necessary support to keep the tact of the daily business in a clear and lean manner. Get in touch with high technology processes and tooling necessary to get ex-service products back to our customers in a “as good as new” condition. Manage the SAP software as main driver of all routers used by production, to this get to know internal processes to assure product quality. To this capture and correct of router issues and deviations.
Qualifications/Requirements: Motivated, team player and proactive character Willing to work among different team Good knowledge of excel and macro creation (programming) Other programming knowledge are welcome Preferable with SAP knowledge
