Role Summary: This is a strategic position responsible for product planning for customer facing Inventory pools associated with multiple modalities for the Repair Operations Center. Sound planning and order fulfillment are critical to ensure customer service levels are achieved.
Essential Responsibilities: • Reports pool health to Senior Management highlighting opportunities for decrease and when an increase may be needed. • Will grow and expand the pool sizes for many products to provide new offerings to customers and develop a new model for allowing loan prior to repair. • Will drive process improvements related to material planning, inventory stocking, and lean implementation as related to operations that include an inventory pool. • Manages finished goods inventory levels globally for a particular group of products • Leads inventory management for a particular group of products • Influence and communicate well with all levels of the organization including senior leadership, acting as primary supply chain owner for the product portfolio • Responsible for the product forecasting process and flow-down from service teams to repair operations teams and reviewing/communicating changes in customer and business needs
Qualifications/Requirements: Quality Specific Goals: 1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor degree and 5 years experience with proven leadership in manufacturing/Service role 2. Demonstrated leadership and global project management 3. Proven ability to drive and manage change initiatives in a matrix environment 4. Demonstrated ability to deliver results in an ambiguous environment
Desired Characteristics: 1. Masters in Business Administration 2. Experience in manufacturing program management 3. Experience in commercial leadership or OTR 4. BB/MBB experience 5. Six Sigma Trained with demonstrated ability to apply tools and process rigor
