Role Summary: The Area Parts and Import Manager will be responsible for processing transactional parts order for to make it sure the orders are taken and shipped in time w/o any errors, collaborating with the region finance, commercial team and counterparts in Hungary and US.
Essential Responsibilities: 1. Liaison for delivery and parts order fulfillment. - Communicate with HQ Parts team for on-time delivery, expediting for customer outage support. - Coordinate with customer and GE FF for logistics arrangement based on the contract. - Provide financial support for LC, bond issuance if needed. - Identify invoice based on shipment and Contract for cash collection within the time frame. - Support logistic arrangement and export control process for returning defect parts. - Support customer issue resolution if any. 2. Gate Keeper for Parts Data. - Provide accurate reports to finance – Order, Sales and Collection pacing. - Contribute to reach the committed sales and orders. 3. Import clearance and TAX Refund. - Apply and obtain necessary license for “Pre-Customs Clearance” in company level. - Lead the cargo forwarder and the customs broker for “pre-customs clearance” at each project. - Work with internal tax and finance team for maximum duties refund. - Maintain complete GEGS import record and ready for customs and duties audit by government.
Qualifications/Requirements: • University degree in Commercial or Engineering. • Able to communicate fluently in English with the multi functions. • Highly preferred to have Oracle experience in power plant industry. • At least 3~5 years of commercial operations, order processing, customer service or logistics.
Desired Characteristics: • Customer Oriented and ability to travel domestic. • Able to perform under extreme pressure and to very demanding customer schedules with sense of urgency. • Self-starter, high motivation level. • Excellent & open communication skill to develop relationship with multi-function in Region. • Negotiating skills and contract terms and conditions. • Customer facing and influence experience. • Willingness to adapt to time zone challenge.
