Role Summary: As a Global Operations Sourcing Intern in GE, you will be an integral part of our Global Operations Center in Budapest, providing sourcing support to legal entities operated by GE affiliates across 26 countries in Europe. You will be engaged in sourcing related activities driving fulfillment, compliance, savings and simplification.
Works with the required expertise and care in line with the relevant rules, policies and instructions given by the direct manager or substitute.
Works in line with the GE Spirit & Letter guidelines.
On-going self-development, participation in the additional courses, training.
Blanket order and purchase order (PO) update on request
Update Sourcing Master and Contract Database files, uploads them into common server
Prepare Late PO analysis on weekly base, report issues and take actions to requestors
Understand PO issuing process and make on time delivery analysis and measurement tool for open order report supporting the updating process of deflation estimates
Run eAuctions and eBids accounting to company policy
Negotiate small buy of Indirect Sourcing sub-commodities
Support Indirect Sourcing team collecting necessary documents from vendors
Ongoing studies in Business or similar (BA/BSc or MA/MSc)
Sourcing experience or equivalent interest (studies)
Fluent English, additional foreign language is an advantage
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and networking skills
Advanced MS-Office and data management skills, SAP is an advantage
Openness for new initiatives, fast learner, proactive
Passion for setting and meeting aggressive goals, hard worker
Strong work ethics with unyielding integrity
Ability to work at least 25 hours a week
