Role Summary: You will operate as a strong Hyperion Administrator to drive technical support and dev. / ops support for the Power Hyperion platform. As the Administrator, you will be responsible for the day to day support and associated project work for the Hyperion applications (HFM, DRM, FDMEE, ODI, Automic, Planning & Essbase).
As the Sr Staff Technical Hyperion Product Manager you will provide leadership to successfully coordinate efforts of the finance and IT departments throughout the company to efficiently and effectively complete improvement initiatives. Requires education and development of less experienced team members.
Support Hyperion platform both from a daily operations and a project perspective, providing technical support of the environment, managing issues, implementing changes, liaising with Finance team on new requirements.
Partner with IM Program Managers for the Finance team on key Simplification & Growth initiatives to drive the overall strategy
Interface directly with functional leadership, key stakeholders, and Corporate teams working as a business partner to evaluate, simplify, and improve business processes
Lead the requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, implementation, documentation and maintenance of Hyperion system solutions & ensure business-wide standards
Follow dPMM project rigor and process, applying FastWorks methodologies as appropriate
Benchmark new patches / upgrades – engage in benchmarking with both Power Technology and EAS Organizations to drive the Technology roadmap, confirm our solution, and lead implementation
Manage scope, time and risk in delivering on time and high quality projects
Mentor junior team members; provide technical leadership across the organization
Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 12 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product OR Master’s degree with 8 years of experience OR PhD with 5 years of experience.
Experience working with financial systems and cross-business teams
Prefer concentration in Information Systems or Finance / Accounting with experience with Oracle EPM administration.
Familiarity with versatile implementation options, including Java, Node.js, Go, Python.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
Process oriented, results, quality and cost driven
Experience working in a global environment with offshore support teams
Ability & desire to remain current with technologies as well as their application in the business function
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
Strong leadership & organizational skills with proven ability to partner closely with finance team to drive ongoing improvements
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices
Able to effectively direct and mentor others in critical thinking skills.
