Role Summary:
The Senior Manager Software Engineering will be the lead responsible for driving a development team to design, build, and deliver all code and configurations within the TeamCenter PLM suite. He or She will partner closely with enterprise architecture along with offshore development team to ensure critical TeamCenter business solutions are delivered on time and with the highest level of quality.

Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for full development phase of the software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation

  • Collaborate with CIOs, Team Leaders, and Program managers to implement coding standards and critical solutions
  • Manages a team of TeamCenter developers to ensure critical dates are met and solutions are delivered
  • Establishes TeamCenter development standards/best practices for team and ensures they are followed
  • Inspires team to be creative in their solutions and take risks when needed
  • In times of tight deadlines and critical deliverables be able to be hands on and develop/config TeamCenter
  • Works closely with TeamCenter architecture team to ensure early and often buy-in on solutions being developed
  • Drives standard work and ITIL best practices throughout the organization
  • Works with Project Managers to help prepare critical tollgate documentation when needed to ensure clarity around solutions being developed
  • Provides coaching, feedback, developmental opportunities to directs



  • Qualifications/Requirements:
    Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering
  • At least 10 years of TeamCenter development experience
  • At least 2 years working in a lead developer/people manager role


  • Ability to communicate the technical knowledge to directs and help connect solutions to requirements
  • Experience in working in a global team and with shared service organizations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Experience in multiple Software Development Lifecycle processes

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Siemens Active Workspace experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Familiarity with GE Digital Industrial objectives
