The Cardiovascular Ultrasound (CV U/S) Sales Manager role is responsible for leading, motivating and developing a team of CV U/S Sales Specialists to meet quarterly and annual Revenue and Margin targets.
Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities include: *Directly manage CV U/S Sales Specialists who sell directly to the end external customer within the region. Select, train, develop and lead personnel to optimize effectiveness.
*Proactively develop and implement sales strategies to drive organic growth in the CV U/S markets
*Cultivate and leverage customer relationships at the all levels as necessary.
*Develop long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.
*As a member of senior leadership team, ensure seamless teamwork with other sales segments and the service organizations to provide total customer satisfaction.
*Deploy and optimize resources to meet quarterly and annual financial /operating objectives including Orders, Revenue, Standard Margin, Distribution Operating Margin, Receivables, Base Cost and Growth targets.
Qualifications/Requirements: This position is open to candidates internal and external to GE. This position is for the Northeast Zone
*At least one of the following core experiences: 5+ years of successful consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation, Graduate of the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program, 5+ years GEHC experience in customer facing/commercial operations roles, or 5+ years in progressively larger formal leadership roles with experience managing professional direct reports
*Basic proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products
*Willingness to travel at least 40% within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays depending on geography and business need

Desired Characteristics: *Previous healthcare experience is preferred

*Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time
*Previous experience managing business balance sheet financials including revenue, margins and costs
*Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process
