Role Summary:
The Director – Program Management - Production Operations is responsible for the delivery of highly complex cross disciplined O&G Digital programs that span multiple O&G Digital organizations, and various other stakeholders within GE, including GE Digital, Oil and Gas product companies, and customer production support and operations. S/he will be responsible for defining and executing programs, and tracking and monitoring key metrics to ensure milestones are met on time and on budget.

Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
  • Leads cross-discipline teams to establish an integrated plan to deliver team commitments
  • Establishes governance structure that identifies key performance indicators, sets milestones, and establishes a reporting cadence.
  • Works closely with product release management to ensure that O&G Digital product deliverables are coordinated with corresponding deliverables from other O&G organizations
  • Manages risk and dependencies between organizations.
  • Defines processes for coordination and communication between organizations and with GE stakeholders
  • Proactively identifies and resolves issues and makes recommendations for improvements to existing processes
  • Tracks and monitors program status and metrics to ensure milestones are met, and internal and external delivery commitments are met.
  • Ensures ongoing communication of progress against program objectives
  • Ensures that development deliverables meet the “Definition of Done”
  • Ensures that the product development process abides by all defined cross-discipline standards and all compliance and regulatory requirements


Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience along with established leadership across the discipline and function


Eligibility Requirements:
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
  • Must be willing to travel (minimal, ~10%)
  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA

  • Demonstrated experience leading and influencing across a complex, global matrix organization.
