Role Summary: The Process Quality Engineer will drive quality improvements utilizing root cause analysis, process reviews / improvements, corrective actions, statistical process control, in-process / final inspection data analysis, quality plans, and overall quality communications within the cell(s). In this role, you will have a strong understanding of statistical analysis and an intimate understanding of the processes within their cell.
Essential Responsibilities: The Process Quality Engineer demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
In the role of Lead Business Process Management Specialist you will:
Monitor quality of all in-house manufactured parts and drive corrective / preventive actions, as necessary
Determine quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing statistical data and making recommendations
Evaluate and help determine disposition of non-conforming materials and formulate corrective actions
Track and trend non-conformance data in cell and drive systemic quality improvements through corrective / preventive actions or Green Belt projects
Provide process / quality support for development, first piece qualification, process improvement, and productivity activities of new / existing suppliers and in-house qualifications
Work closely with supplier quality to give feedback on poor performing suppliers within cell
Ensure synergy of quality initiatives with suppliers, internal processes, and customer expectations
Development of work instructions and responsible for work station audits within the cell
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution with a minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing or quality)
Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality
Green Belt Certification or equivalent Quality certification
Experience with Lean Six Sigma processes / workouts or equivalent Quality processes / workouts
Experience with a Measurement & Control product line
Oil & Gas Project Management Experience
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint & advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, etc.)
Proven team leadership skills and ability to effectively influence and motivate others
Substantial functional experience with successful track record of results
Strong project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with all levels
Ability to work in a Matrix environment with cross-functional teams
Strong Organizational, Analytic, and problem solving skills process mindset
