Role Summary: This program is for people who have passion for technology and drive for technical excellence. The rotation is intended to provide a broad exposure to mechanical analysis of the new ATP (Advanced Turboprop) engine components. It is designed to accelerate your professional development through technical on the job training and a variety of business-critical assignments in stress analysis, with focus on supporting the ongoing NPI process for the ATP engine.
Essential Responsibilities: You will be responsible for execution of assigned tasks, with guidance from experienced personnel. This program membership also requires continuous education through self-studies and in-house courses. After completing this Bubble assignment you will gain further technical foundation which will enrich your expertize and help you to be more effective and drive the right decision. Responsibilities will vary by assigned tasks, but some examples may include:
• Stress analysis of assigned ATP components (typically rotating parts), using FEM (Finite Element Method) according to valid GE Aviation design/best practices and methodologies;
• Preparation of technical presentations for NPI tollgate reviews and documentation of work;
• Continuous communication and presentation of the results to project manager, hardware owner and panel of reviewers;
• Active cooperation and coordination on projects with other R&D global teams.
Bachelor/Master of Science in Engineering (or equivalent in knowledge/experience),
Demonstrated GE Engineering experience in the area of FEM analysis,
Active knowledge of standard GE analytical tools (ANSYS Mechanical, HyperMesh, Siesta),
Solid understanding of engineering and/or manufacturing fundamentals,
Fluency in English,
Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location.
Familiarity with NPI design process (tollgate requirements and reviews) and GE Aviation design/best practices for stress analysis.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Highly proactive approach and problem-solving skills,
Ability to influence and motivate others,
Geographic mobility in accepting rotational assignments.
