Role Summary: The Associate Program is a rotational program designed to build energy deal leaders with deep structured finance expertise, industry knowledge and commercial understanding. The program consists of rotations in underwriting and portfolio management roles across the energy spectrum through debt and equity investments in areas such as renewables, oil & gas, and power generation.
Analyze and develop financial models and projections with a focus on returns analysis, identifying risk factors, and creating a cohesive business case.
Structure transactions based on market conditions, tax considerations and risk analysis.
Perform valuation analysis for projects and companies.
Assist in preparing credit requests and other supporting documentation for internal approval processes and internal reports.
Prepare and present internal reports for senior level review.
Oversee all ongoing servicing activities and serve as primary point of contact for commercial financing transactions.
Manage projects with strict attention to compliance with deal terms and establish, implement and monitor reporting metrics for operations.
Develop and execute process improvement projects.
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in energy, transactional finance or other related area.
Financial statement analysis experience, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
