Role Summary:
The Program Manager for Inspection Services Delivery will have primary responsibility for delivering an integrated inspection service to a variety of industrial customers in Oil and Gas, Rail, Power, and others. The PM will lead the planning and execution of delivery of autonomous inspection including various sensor packages mounted on aerial, ground, and swimming robotic platforms as well as delivery of stationary sensors mounted in strategic customer locations.

Essential Responsibilities:
The PM is responsible for all digital elements of the inspection platform, including integration with customer IT, fixed and mobile sensors and autonomy.
The PM will ensure that all systems are integrated such that the customer’s inspection requirements are met; all data is assimilated and analyzed and a final inspection report is delivered. The Program Manager role will require an experienced leader with strong technical and customer knowledge and program management skills. The PM must can work effectively in ambiguity, globally and cross-functionally to deliver on program objectives.

In addition, you will:
  • Lead, plan, organize, and deliver autonomous inspection services to customer locations. This will include software and various sensor packages mounted on aerial, ground, and swimming robotic platforms as well as facilitate development of yearly budget and track spending throughout the year.
  • Responsible for delivery of all digital systems including customer located static sensors and packages, integration with customer IT, and integration of data collection with data processing and analytics.
  • facilitate development of goals and objectives, develop schedules, and track progress as well as facilitate development of yearly budget and track spending throughout the year.
  • lead development of processes to measure and control progress of delivery of services.
  • Understand and ensure proper customer requirements are met.
  • Establish processes and measure progress of working with external stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with the integration and testing labs, sales and marketing, engineering, and others to ensure all parties understand customer requirements and to deliver project results with a one team mindset
  • Own and manage budget and schedule associated with project activities, including tracking, reporting and estimation
  • Develop mitigation plans as necessary to offset risks to goals and commitments
  • Communicate status of programs to senior level leadership on a regular basis and effectively manage all stakeholder requirements to satisfaction
  • Implement systems engineering processes and associated enable a strong culture, awareness and understanding of delivering integrated digital and physical systems.


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, software development, or business from an accredited College or University
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in a service delivery organization
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a project management role
  • Minimum of 4 years of program management experience

Eligibility Requirements
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%, as required


Desired Characteristics:
  • Proven capability to deliver services based on integrated physical and digital systems.
  • Broad knowledge of industrial systems including oil and gas production, transportation and delivery; power generation and transmission; rail transportation; and others.
  • Strong knowledge of IT, systems integration, protocol management, process management, logistics, supply chain management, vendor management, vendor testing and qualification process, and customer support
  • Experience in delivering industrial inspection solutions.
  • Experience in inspections related to oil and gas facilities or rail systems.
  • LEAN Six Sigma MBB / BB certified or equivalent Quality certification
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Ability to embrace and drive change
  • Outstanding influencing, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in matrixed, globally-based teams
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and lead change
