Role Summary: As the Compensation & Benefits Manager, North Africa you will be responsible and accountable for providing Compensation & Benefits services to GE businesses across the North Africa geography. The focus will be on delivering contemporary solutions aligned to the GE Global C&B principles.
Essential Responsibilities: • Management of salary planning and incentive planning processes • Oversight of rewards and recognition programs and tools • Creation and execution of policies and procedures related to pay practices, benefits recommendations • Ensuring GE policies and practices are aligned and competitive with the external market • Ensuring compliance with all GE company policies and statutory regulations • Partnership with HR and management with local service providers • Engaging in activities of the wider GE C&B community by providing insights and inputs as appropriate • Leading C&B activities in support of acquisition and divestiture activity, integration planning and implementation. • Support strategic initiatives and partnering with other functions to ensure service and solutions excellence.
Qualifications/Requirements: The successful candidate with strong domain expertise in C&B and will be able to demonstrate • Extensive C&B leadership • Relevant oversight experience in compensation practices as an operations/functional leader in North Africa • Impact with proven ability to develop strategy and drive change in an effective and participative manner • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong influencing and problem solving skills and ability to deal with uncertainty and change. • Ability to build effective partnerships and foster a collaborative operating environment • Understanding laws and regulations related to local compensation and benefits • Strong technical capabilities including use of excel and power point • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Fluency in English
