Role Summary: The Order Management Product Line Lead – SAP Super User is responsible for training order management team in all aspects of order entry and order management by utilizing SAP for assigned product line. Responsible for managing (E2E) assigned customers/accounts. This role acts as the order management SAP super user for assigned product line order management team.
Essential Responsibilities: This position is critical for driving a climate of customer satisfaction, process excellence, and managing/coordinating customer accounts as assigned.
In the role of Order Management Product Line Lead – SAP Super User, you will:
Interact directly with customers via phone and e-mail in regards to communicating order progress and schedules. Also, attend/lead customer calls for schedule updates as well as to address escalated orders and deal with upset/frustrated customers
Be responsible for managing assigned accounts and driving weekly/daily cross functional operating rhythm to meet customer delivery requirements
Provide daily support and issue resolution for assigned product line order management team relative to customer and ERP related items, supporting the team to ensure alignment in meeting the goals of the order management team and product line
Be responsible for resolution of customer issues related to shop processes, represent customers in production meetings and communicate status to the customer
Ensure accuracy of documentation including shipping, invoicing and finance systems
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR high school diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution and minimum of 7 years of order management/buying/production scheduling/customer service experience including minimum 1 year of experience in utilizing SAP)
Minimum 3 years of order management/buying/production scheduling/customer service experience including minimum 1 year of experience in utilizing SAP
Technical/Business Degree from an accredited college or university
Knowledge of the Order to Remittance process and inventory management techniques
Possess an understanding of commercial practices such as order status, expediting, shipping instructions, etc.
Working knowledge of MS Office software
Detail-orientated and task proficient, with the ability to work with customers across different time zones
Strong oral and written communication skills, sound business acumen and the ability to interface with all levels of internal and external customers
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with displayed skills in order management
Minimum 2 years of SAP super user experience
Strong customer focus with the ability to deliver challenging information to customers
Team oriented and goal oriented mind set
