Essential Responsibilities: • Underwriting : Responsible for all aspects of the underwriting process for leasing and factoring including: – Analysis of financial statements and preparation of financial models – Analysis of all other relevant credit information as applicable including credit reports, bank statements, guarantees & collaterals, industry trends, and etc. – Conduct on-site due diligence visits and gather necessary information for credit evaluation. – Collaborate with Originator in preparing and presenting preliminary credit findings and if deemed appropriate, formal credit approval request. – Initiate, manage and administer the credit approval process including legal documentation, security registration, and AML/KYC requirements, etc. • Structuring: Work closely with cross-functional teams and if appropriate, external solution providers (such as banks, leasing companies or equity partners, etc.) to analyze business opportunities, understand profile of target customers, identify key risks in the transactions, structure appropriate solutions with relevant risk mitigants and controls. • Portfolio Management: Rigorous portfolio performance review, including reporting of key risk metrics, trends and analysis to ensure customer performance to specifications, identify early warning signals and propose appropriate corrective actions if needed.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields. • 3 years’+ risk experience in commercial lending, leasing or relevant functions. • Possess good knowledge of risk management, financial products, industry and markets, as well as good credit and financial analysis skills. • Able to work proactively to solve problems, work on multiple tasks at the same time, and work under tight schedules with high quality deliverables. • Clear thinker with concise communication, good presentation skills, excellent commercial judgment and business sense. • Good team player showing strong work ethic and commitment. • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
