Role Summary:
The Radiography Product General Manager will be responsible for leading the full scope of product management activities for the ~$110M Radiography product line. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization and create a long-term profitable business strategy, driving organic and inorganic growth to double the product line over the GPB period.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for creating short term success while establishing the long term profitable growth strategy for the Radiography product groups through cross-functional initiatives and programs partnering with supply chain, marketing, sales, comm ops, engineering, finance and services teams
  • Be responsible for understanding the product marketplace; know the competition and the product strengths and weaknesses to define the multi- generational product plan (MGPP)
  • As a true GM, be responsible for all operational metrics within product group including OM, CM and revenue; setting direction and improvement plans in order to meet business plan
  • Provide leadership to direct reports and sub teams; including coaching, staffing, training, evaluation and performance management
  • Partner with sales on establishing regional strategies and directly support key accounts and large orders
  • Partner with engineering to determine priority of development programs and product specifications along with tracking NPI sales and fulfillment to ensure competitiveness, market leadership and continued product longevity
  • Partner with marketing team to identify, articulate and synthesize global market requirements as well as develop a go-to-market plan and be accountable for NPI commitments including launch schedules, sales and CM performance
  • Be responsible for customer interaction and support as defined and required by the business
  • Partner with BD team to identify inorganic opportunities that support long term growth strategy, as well as drive overall integration of acquired businesses


    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Marketing or Business Admin
    • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Marketing
    • Significant professional experience in Product Marketing and/or Product Management
    • Experience in B2B technology sectors, including products, services, and SW/Digital
    • Previous experience leading complex global organizations
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Strong business analysis, problem solving, and strategy development skills
    • Ability to travel 50%+

      Desired Characteristics:

      • Knowledge of NDT, Aerospace, Automotive and Oil & Gas industry is desirable
      • Sound understanding of the NDT market dynamics
      • Preference for candidate with B2B Digital/Software experience around industrial products (automation, inspection, measurement/control, or similar).
      • Knowledge of GE products, software and services is desirable
      • Understanding of competitive landscape is a plus
      • Demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects successfully
      • Driven change agent with bias for action
      • Outstanding presentation skills and analytical ability
      • Ability to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
      • Green belt or Black belt Six Sigma certification is preferred (GE employees only)
      • Strong oral and written communication skills
      • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
      • Effective team management skills
