Role Summary: The Risk Analyst will be responsible for identifying and assessing commercial, technical, and operational risks across a broad spectrum of commercial opportunities within the PS business. The analyst will work closely with the MYA team, OTR, Sales and Commercial teams in the negotiation of long term service agreements and technical risk assessment, developing deal winning strategies that balance risk and reward. Preferable locations: Moscow, Istanbul
Essential Responsibilities: In addition, the RA will: • He or She will be also responsible to ensure risk modeling capabilities to support financial modeling for new unit and renegotiation deals. • Support the OTR and Renegotiations teams in building iCAM scenarios modeling • Interface directly with the ITO, OTR, Legal, Engineering, and Finance Teams as required during proposal development and contract negotiation • Attend and support customer negotiations when required • Develop work-scope, issue performance guarantees, and conduct deal financial analytics as required to support customer CTQs • Assist engineering and the customer value team in the validation and implementation of New Product Introduction (NPI) programs • Engage in continuous improvement of Risk Mitigation Processes using Six Sigma and LEAN (e.g. error detection, process control, and process design strategies) • Drive risk management culture and proactively develop portfolio risk solutions
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering, Risk Management, or in a related technical field • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Engineering, Risk Management, Commercial, fields • Fluent in the English language
Desired Characteristics: • Knowledge of iCAM and PGS margin review process • Strong analytical & problem solving skills • Working knowledge of statistical modeling • Strong software skills (Excel, PowerPoint) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Black Belt or Green Belt certified (GE Employees Only) • Understanding of gas turbine and steam turbine design, maintenance requirements, and operation • Understanding of power plant performance variables • Experience analyzing complex service contracts • Previous experience in Risk Management • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse and highly matrixed environment • Third language
